From this summer, the local authority have decided to reduce speed on our ring road (?) from 110 km/h (~70 mph) to 90 km/h (~55 mph) for the cars and down to 80 km/h (~50 mph) for trucks.

I guess it is a start (to saving planet)! Lower speed less fuel used?
For safety sake our schools have a 40Km/h zone in morning and afternoon periods which is rather slow and needs watching for or else. You did quite well at the recycling sale. I'm not doing much net surfing laterly.
