Cahors - the Street Market and the Cathedral Saint Etienne

In Cahors, where my mother lives, a street market takes place on Saturday and Wednesday morning at the foot of the Cathedral Saint Etienne.
As you can see, there are a lot of stands of local producers and dealers. It is mainly vegetable, fruit, cheese (especially the famous and typical Cabecou made with goat milk) , meat and fish ... and the famous wine of Cahors.
The cathedral is very special with it fortified bell tower and the 2 cupola (you can just a piece of one).

Vélô Toulouse

From November 16th, Vélô Toulouse has started his activity.

Vélô Toulouse is a Self Service “bike hire” system available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Multi pick up and drop off location allows you to pick up your bike from one service point and drop off to another.
Annual and short-term subscription are available and the first 30 minutes are free.

The system exists also in Lyon and in Paris (the famous Vélib).

Street signs : full car parks

Last Saturday, on 4 car parks in the center of Toulouse, 3 were full or nearly full (saturated) : Christmas shopping has started.

Grand Hotel de l'Opéra & Kebab

The Grand Hotel de l'Opéra is one of the famous hotel in Toulouse.
The contrast between a luxurious hotel and Turkish and Greek sandwiches restaurant is very meaningful of the modification of the city.
