I'm back !!!

I'm back, yes !!! Happy to be back in this family.

We did it, we've moved to Toulouse. Now we are living in an apartment near the city center.

Chateau d'eau

This former water tower has been converted in exhibition center dedicated to photography founded by a famous photographer from Toulouse Jean Dieuzaide.

Strange graffiti

There is a lot of these strange in Toulouse. I don't know who does that.

Place de la Daurade

An old harbour along the Garonne River, in the background the roof of the "Basilique de la Daurade".
The name of the basilica is not a wordplay with the name of a fish called in french "dorade" or "daurade" (sea bream in english) but related to gilded mosaic which was inside the church.
In latin, the mosaic was called "deaurata".

This is the old public library of Toulouse built in 1928.

Toulouse has also a mounted police with cute policewomen.

Le Corbusier models

Currently there is an excellent exposition about Le Corbusier's works at Chandigarh (India) at le Centre Méridional de l'Architecture et de la Ville in Toulouse.

In addition, 103 models of Le Corbusier's projects and realizations made by a Japanese architect called Tadao Ando are exposed. This exhaustive collection is really impressive but difficult to catch.
